RAR CLI tests and fixtures are optional. On macOS, the test setup uses spctl to assess the executable without launching it, then skips RAR if Gatekeeper rejects it. Set DIRPLOT_TEST_RAR=1 to opt in despite a rejected or unavailable assessment. On other platforms, the CLI is checked with a bounded archive creation probe. Fixture and test archive creation also has timeouts.\n\nValidation: full local suite passes (821 passed, 25 skipped); archive suite passes (94 passed, 8 skipped); Ruff and mypy pass.
