Breaking changes

• Python 3.10 or later is required. Projects on Python 3.8 or 3.9 can stay on 1.x, which continues to receive security and bug-fix patches per the SDK versioning policy.
• Minimum dependencies: urllib3 >= 2.8.0, pydantic >= 2.11.

Proxy detection

When Configuration.proxy is not set, the SDK now uses the proxy from the environment (HTTPS_PROXY, HTTP_PROXY, ALL_PROXY) and, on macOS and Windows, the system proxy settings.

• To bypass it for the Dropbox Sign API, set NO_PROXY=hellosign.com or configuration.no_proxy = "hellosign.com" (covers api.hellosign.com and app.hellosign.com).
• To ignore all proxy settings, set configuration.proxy = None after creating the Configuration.
• SOCKS proxies require urllib3[socks].
• Known limitations: the proxy decision is made once per ApiClient, and macOS/Windows proxy exclusion lists and PAC files are not applied.

Visible changes

• to_json() serializes datetimes; to_dict() keeps None items in lists.
• Boolean query parameters are sent as true / false.
• ApiException messages list the response body and data separately.
