Stage generated files and run the dependency audits in CI - #50

The generator wrote template output over the committed structs and ran RuboCop on them in place. Task stops every step when one fails, so a failure elsewhere in `task ci` during formatting left the committed structs unformatted. The generators now write into a staging directory under tmp/, RuboCop formats the files there (with a copy of the config, whose paths are relative to it), and each file moves into place with one rename. The docs tests and typecheck import docs/generated, which isn't committed and was deleted and rewritten on every run, so they now wait for generation. scripts/generate_sorbet_log_structs.rb was an older copy of the generator that nothing ran.
bundler-audit and pnpm audit ran in `task ci` but not in GitHub CI, so the Release workflow, which waits for CI, didn't wait for them. A Security Audit job runs them through scripts/security_audit.sh, which `task security` runs too.

LogFieldsGenerator output directory in the generation flow so they run only

steps unchanged, and install these outputs alongside the final TypeScript output
installation.

Two problems found while releasing 0.3.0.
Interrupted generation corrupted the generated files
scripts/generate_structs.rbwrote raw template output over the committed structs inlib/log_struct/log/and then ran RuboCop on them in place. Task stops every running step when one fails, so a failure elsewhere intask ci(or a Ctrl-C) during the few seconds of formatting left all of the committed structs unformatted. Runningtask cion Node 22.6 reproduced it:spellcheckanddocs:testreject that Node version, and every generated struct came out changed.A second race:
docs:testdidn't depend on generation, but its tests importdocs/generated/logstruct. That directory isn't committed, and the generator deleted and rewrote it on every run. On a checkout without the directory, task --parallel docs:test ruby:generatefailed five Jest suites with "Cannot find module", and that failure then interrupted the generator as above. The changes:
tmp/that mirrors the repository. RuboCop formats the staged files, using a copy of.rubocop.ymlat the staging root so its path rules still apply (plain.rbis allowed an untyped prop). Each file then moves into place with one rename. An interruption leaves the committed files as they were, and anything reading them during generation (Sorbet, tscor Jest intask cior the parallel pre-commit hook) gets either the old file or the new one.docs/generated/logstructis replaced file by file, and files that are no longer generated are removed, instead of deleting the whole directory first.docs:testanddocs:typecheckdepend onruby:generate.scripts/generate_sorbet_log_structs.rbis deleted. It was an older copy of the generator that nothing called.Regenerating gives byte-identical Ruby structs and
log-fields.json. Thedocs/generatedoutput has the same files and content, but the members of theLogFieldenum inenums.tscome out in a different order: the template followsLogField.constants, whose order depends on what code was loaded first. The members are strings, so their order doesn't matter.A new test interrupts the formatter in a copy of the repository and checks that no generated file changed. It fails on the old generator. Unit tests cover the staging install.
The advisory audits only ran locally
bundler-auditandpnpm auditran intask cibut not in GitHub CI. A new Security Audit job runs them throughscripts/security_audit.sh, whichtask securitynow runs too. The Release workflow waits for the CI workflow to succeed, so a release now waits for the audits.A newly published advisory will turn CI red on unrelated PRs until the dependency is updated. Dependabot alerts are on for this repository, but Dependabot security updates (the automatic PRs) are off.
Testing
task cipasses locally: typecheck, lint, spellcheck, the Ruby, Rails and docs tests, the Tapioca check and both audits.Summary by CodeRabbit
